The Burn DVD utility can burn an Image file onto DVD-R or DVD-RW media using the Pioneer DVR-A04 DVD Writer.
Menu | Function | Description |

File | Select DVD File | The image file which is to be burnt onto DVD Media. It must be a multiple of 2048 Bytes per Block. |
Unit | Select DVD Unit | A Pioneer DVR-A04 or compatible DVD-R/RW Drive. Access to the DVD Drive is through the ASPI Driver which must be installed. |
Eject Disc | Eject the Disc from the DVD Drive. | |
Load Disc | Close the DVD drawer and load the DVD media. | |
Test Unit Ready | Issues a Test Unit Ready command to the DVD Drive. | |
Update Unit Status | Updates the Unit Status. | |
Media | Erase Entire Disc | Issues an Erase command to erase the Disc. This is a full erase which can take some time. |
Minimally Erase Disc | Issues an Erase command to minimally Erase the Disc. | |
Options | Test Write | If the Test Write option is set, the data is sent to the DVD Drive, but it does not write anything to the media. This has the same effect as pressing the Test Burn button. |
No Buffer UnderRun | Set sthe No Buffer Unedrrun option on the Drive, so that even if there is an underrun, the burn process continues. | |
Force Buffer Underrun | This is a testing option which forces a Buffer Underrun, to test the effect of the No Buffer Underrun option. | |
Report Commands | When set, the commands issued to the DVD Device are displayed in the report panel. | |

This utility was provided in the early days of DVD devices when there was no software around to burn an Image file onto a DVD. These days there are plenty of utilities on the Internet which can perform this function.
